  2. Boil your eggs for exactly 6 minutes for a very gooey center, 8 minutes for a more stiff jelly like yolk
  3. After 6 minutes quickly remove your eggs from the boiling water and submerge them into an ice water bath, let sit for 5 minutes
  4. Peel the eggs and place into a bowl, leave in the refrigerator until ready to assemble ramen

  4. Place a pan on medium high heat and add a few drops of oil, fry your bacon until golden brown and crispy 2 minutes each side
  5. Place your bacon on a cutting board and chop into bite size pieces
Prepare the rest of your toppings
  1. Dice your scallions and seaweed into bite sized pieces (if you're using other toppings such as corn, mushrooms or fish cakes, prepare them too)
Preparing the noodles
  1. Cook your packet of noodles in water as directed on the packet
  2. Take care not to over cook your noodles, they'll absorb water the longer you cook them and can become mushy
Assemble your ramen
  1. Pour your noodles and the broth into a large bowl
  2. Remove your eggs from the fridge and cut in half or quarters, add them to your bowl of ramen
  3. Add your bacon pieces and any other toppings you prepared
  4. Enjoy!
